A Family Now

Because of what they had gone through together, everyone had formed a strong bond. Tunde was now an important person to every member of Chris’ family. No one was closer to her that his mother though. Tunde went way beyond what was required from her to make sure Judy had a comfortable time during her final days. This was solely because she cared and loved the woman too…

A Caring Woman

There was always one thing that Judy Wright wanted. She was a firm believer that one must, “Always do something that is going to last and matter.” So what she wished for was something truly inspiring. She pleaded her family not to spend money for her funeral but to rather contribute the money for a good cause. This left a huge mark on Tunde…

Giving Back

Judy did not wish to have costly funeral flowers or ordinary farewell cards for her funeral. She wanted something else. Judy had another plan for what she wanted to be done for her funeral. She did not want her family members to spend money on gifts and cards, but to spend it for a meaningful cause. She wanted them to give back to someone in need.

Dream To Reality

Chris was clear as to what his mom wanted. And he also knew that Tunde always longed to become a nurse but could not due to personal reasons. He made a donation link for her. He wanted to help Tunde get money and help her get a bachelor’s degree. Chris set up the fundraising drive on YouCaring and the world got to know about the wonderful person she actually is with her story.

To Be A Nurse

While some of us may have dreams that entail buying a huge house, traveling or owning expensive things, there are people who dream of getting different things. People like Tunde actually wish to get an education to keep it their first priority. But since she did not have the money to pursue her dreams, it had never become possible for her to be one. But all thanks to Judy, her life was about to change.
