Telling The Truth

Edith was quite nervous too when he approached her and handed her the bag. For a minute, it was difficult for her to understand what was happening, who was the man and why he was giving her the bag. Bobby understood her dilemma and told her that it was her money in the bag. Her eyes glimmered with joy as she took the bag from his hand. This was unbelievable because she couldn’t believe that she got her money back.

Emotions

She couldn’t contain her emotions and tears started to roll down her cheeks. She then told Bobby that she cried the whole night when she came to know that she had lost her money. She was so grateful for him as she was in need of that money urgently and when she realized that she had lost the money, all her hopes were shattered into pieces.

Grateful

She was overwhelmed by his good deeds so she rummaged through her purse and took some money out of it. Bobby couldn’t understand what the old lady was doing as she took his hand in hers and put 20$ on it, he was surprised. Edith told Bobby that she somehow managed to save 20$ in the last month and wanted to give him as a reward. Would he accept the money?

Refused

As expected Bobby refused to take the money and said her smile was the biggest reward he could ever get. This really moved the old lady because she didn’t expect a stranger to be so generous and genuine. She hugged him tightly and he wiped the tears off her wrinkled cheeks.

Donating Money

On his way back, Bobby realized that the old woman was struggling with money and thought of donating her some money to help her financially. So when he reached home and told his wife about the incident she too was happy with her husband’s concern. Bobby straight away called the manager and asked him to donate 500$ to the old woman’s account.

Good Deeds

When Edith reached home, the manager of the bank called her to inform that Bobby had transferred 500$ to her account. She couldn’t believe her ears and thought how could be a man so generous. She was overwhelmed with emotions and couldn’t contain her tears. But that was just the starting. What else was going was there that could bring a huge change in her life?
