“The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen.”

Fans of Alan Moore would love this picture. This car was driven by Captain Nemo (played by Naseeruddin Shah) in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. You can actually own this amazing car which was designed by Carol Spier and is 22 feet long with six wheels and accouterments fitted with pure silver and also has elephant heads in place of headlights.

Michelin Tires Advertisement

It’s not a scene from some B-Science Fiction movie but an actual advertisement from Michelin Tires. The tire creature started appearing from 1898. The tire man became famous all over the world and as the tires became thicker so did the tire man.

The Rush Hour Traffic

New York City, the city that never sleeps saw massive traffic in 1909. The street was jam-packed with all the means of travel you can think of, streetcars, trucks loaded with woods, horses, and modern cars.

The Angel Oak Tree

This 500 years old tree is one of the oldest living trees on the planet. Located in the east of Mississipi River, the Angel Oak tree in Charleston has become more of a tourist spot where people from all around the globe come to visit it and are mesmerized by its size. The longest branch of this tree spreads out to 187 feet.

Two Young Dutchmen

The guys in the photo are actually wearing their traditional trousers which can literally fit two or maybe three people in it. We don’t want to make fun of the tradition or anything but this is something really strange. Balloon-Shaped trousers with double breasted shirts. Thank god we don’t see this fashion any more. But still, these Dutchmen know how to carry it in style.

Crossing The Berlin Wall

This powerful photo of an East German soldier helping a little kid cross the Berlin Wall is something that proves that humanity was still alive back then. It must have been hard for the child to get separated from its family. We hope this soldier was able to reunite the child with its family.
